Styling and Preparation guide for your Headshot Session
Ensuring everything looks perfect before we start shooting
Styling yourself is as equally important as the photoshoot itself. Putting effort into your appearance is important. Please make sure you check the following points to ensure you are ready for your headshot session.
Styling Instructions for Men
-
Outfits. Please plan outfit that fit you well. Avoid anything too baggy or too tight.
-
Color and Pattern. Choose darker colors such as navy, gray or black blazers. Simple, elegant textures work great. Avoid heavy patterns and designs, as they can look clumsy.
-
Contrast. Play around with the contrast between your shirt and jacket. you can create more contrast by pairing a lighter shirt with a dark blazer or reduce it by wearing a dark shirt with a dark blazer.
-
Tie. It's a good idea to bring a tie along so we can try out options with and without it.
-
Hairstyle and Beard. It's important that you look your best, so please get a fresh haircut and style your hair in a way that suits you. For Facial hair, choose that look that best suits you- whether that's a beard, subtle stubble, or a clean shave. If you plan to have a beard, Please style it and ensure it is well-shaped. For men who are bald, groom yourself well for a stylish appearance.

Hairstyle. Hairstyle is very important to your overall appearance. Whether you have short or long hair, try out your best and most stylish hairstyles. You can also try adding natural-looking hair extensions to add volume to your hair. Make sure the result looks naturally good.
-
Make Up. Please come prepared with very good and natural makeup. Don't overdo it; the makeup should only enhance your appearance, not change your facial features. Try a very subtle eye makeup and use nude-colored lipsticks.
Make sure you get adequate sleep in the days leading up to the photoshoot. This will help you avoid looking tired, reduce redness in your eyes or dark circles, and make you appear more energetic and active.
Also, please don't worry about any temporary blemishes you may have, as we will professionally retouch your headshot image in a natural way.
